Celebrate the foundation of the earth and the continuity of life with this Turtle Indigenous Art Wood Ornament. Designed by Ojibwe artist Jason Adair, this ornament features the Turtle, a central figure in many Indigenous origin stories representing "Turtle Island" or the land itself. Crafted from sustainable Ipil Ipil wood, it showcases a clean and symbolic motif that resonates across many Plains and Woodland Nations. This piece is a powerful way to honour traditional Ojibwe heritage and the sacredness of our shared home.

Originally from Etobicoke with roots in Northern Ontario, Jason Adair is a Woodland artist deeply inspired by the teachings of Norval Morrisseau. Based in North Vancouver since 1991, Jason paints with vibrant colours and a fervent desire to bring healing and joy through his imagery. His work is a respectful continuation of the Woodland style, aimed at passing on the traditional teachings and stories shared with him throughout his life. Jason’s art serves as a colourful bridge between history and the present, celebrating the enduring spirit of the Ojibwe people.
