Allan Weir is a Haida artist born to the Raven Clan of Old Masset, Haida Gwaii. Allan creates sculptural works and carvings in argillite and wood that are deeply rooted in Haida traditions, but through his own innovative and fresh perspective. Allan has apprenticed under renowned Haida artist Christian White. He also actively participates in cultural events through singing and dancing.
