Trevor Hunt is a Kwakwaka'wakw artist from the Fort Rupert community, belonging to a world-renowned family of carvers. Under the guidance of his father, Stan Hunt, and his uncles, Trevor has mastered the bold and expressive style of Kwakwaka'wakw design. He is known for his vibrant paintings and intricate carvings, particularly masks and paddles, which often feature traditional family crests and ancestral legends. Trevor is dedicated to the preservation of his cultural protocols, using his creative voice to ensure the history and identity of his people continue to thrive in the modern world.
