Delreé Dumont is a Cree artist from the Onion Lake Cree Nation, currently based in Alberta. Her work is deeply rooted in traditional Indigenous teachings, often featuring symbolic imagery like the medicine wheel and local wildlife. Delreé’s style is known for its intricate detail and soulful use of colour, aiming to promote healing and cultural pride through visual storytelling. As a former gallery owner and dedicated educator, she continues to use her art to build bridges between cultures and to celebrate the rich traditions and stories of her people.
