Delreé, Wâpiski Kihéw Esquao, is known for her breathtaking pointillism creations, and is a talented artist whose work reflects the rich heritage of her Indigenous roots. With a traditional name meaning White Eagle Woman, she is a proud member from Onion Lake Cree Nation in Saskatchewan, Canada. Delree's artistic journey is deeply intertwined with her cultural heritage, and her creations serve as a vibrant expression of Indigenous identity and connection to the land.
Inspired by the natural world and her ancestral traditions, Delreé's art vividly portrays wildlife, Indigenous dancers in regalia, and the rich flora and fauna of Western Canada. Her distinct pointillism technique brings depth and texture to her pieces, drawing viewers into the intricate details of her work. Delreé committed to a full-time artistic career in 2014, wholeheartedly embracing her craft.
