    • 100% of the art featured on every Native Northwest product is designed by Indigenous artists

    • All artists have provided consent and contractual permission for their art to be featured on Native Northwest products

    • Artist names are acknowledged on all product packaging

    • Cultural traditions are honoured by acknowledging cultural affiliation on product packaging

    • Artists are paid in fees and royalties

  • Todd Stephens is a Nisga'a artist from the Laxgalts’ap community in the Nass Valley, BC. He is a skilled carver and jeweler whose work is deeply rooted in the sophisticated formline of his ancestors. Todd is known for his technical precision in silver and gold, often featuring the powerful crests and stories of the Nisga'a people. Through his art, he seeks to preserve the visual history of his heritage, ensuring that traditional protocols and designs remain a vibrant part of the contemporary Northwest Coast art scene while honouring the legacy of the masters who came before him.
