Terry Starr is a Tsimshian artist from the Gispaxlo'ots Tribe of Lax Kw'alaams, BC. He began his career in the 1970s, studying under master carvers such as Bill Reid and Robert Davidson. Terry is celebrated for his exceptional skill in wood carving and printmaking, characterized by a meticulous attention to traditional formline and a deep understanding of ancestral narratives.
