Sharifah Marsden is an Anishinaabe artist from the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. A multi-disciplinary creator, she is known for her mastery of beadwork, painting, and large-scale murals. Sharifah’s work often features vibrant floral motifs and woodland-inspired imagery, reflecting her connection to the land and the traditional teachings of her people. Based in Vancouver, she has been a key figure in community art projects, using her creative voice to promote healing and cultural pride. Her art is a contemporary celebration of Anishinaabe identity, characterized by its intricate detail and soulful use of colour.
