Leila Stogan is a master Coast Salish weaver from the Musqueam First Nation. Coming from a lineage of celebrated weavers, she has dedicated her life to the revitalization of traditional Musqueam textile arts. Leila’s work is characterized by the use of ancestral patterns and natural materials, reflecting a deep spiritual connection to the land and the history of her people. Through her intricate blankets and wall hangings, she continues the legacy of Salish weaving, serving as a teacher and cultural ambassador who ensures that these vital artistic traditions are carried forward with integrity.
