Adam Lewis is a Kwakwaka'wakw artist from the Ligwilda’xw First Nation in Campbell River, BC. Inspired by a family of celebrated carvers, he began practicing his craft at a young age, focusing on traditional formline and wood carving. His work is characterized by a deep respect for ancestral stories and the natural world, often featuring iconic West Coast imagery such as the Eagle and Raven. Adam’s art serves as a bridge between generations, preserving the vibrant cultural heritage of the Kwakwaka'wakw people through functional and ceremonial pieces.
