Designed by Métis Artist Leah Dorion.

In many First Nations creation stories the continent of North America is called Turtle Island. The giant turtle represents the teachings about the sacred nature of kinship and the profound interrelatedness among all life on earth.  We all depend on Mother Earths gifts for our well-being.

Glass ornaments are 75 mm in diameter and are individually packaged in an elegant padded satin box. Information about the design and the artist is featured on the band on the box and on a card within.
